What this site is

Plaintools (https://plaintools.io) is a set of static pages plus client-side JavaScript. The tools exist so you can work with markup, photos, IBANs, URLs, tokens, and data files without handing them to a converter you do not control.

What we do not collect

Tool input stays in memory in your browser. There is no account system, no upload endpoint, and no database of past conversions. HEIC bytes, IBANs, JWTs, CSV contents, YAML documents, and form fields are not sent to our servers as part of using a tool.

What a host may still see

Whoever serves the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will see ordinary web logs: IP address, user agent, and the path you requested. That is how the web works. Those logs are not the contents of the paste boxes.

Cookies and analytics

This build does not set first-party analytics cookies and does not load a third-party analytics script. If that changes, this page will say so before the code ships.

Your other software

Browser extensions, employer proxies, and password managers can still read a page you have open. If a token or customer file is sensitive, treat the whole computer as the trust boundary — not just this origin.
